Groundwork ("we", "us") provides payment-reminder and account-notification services to small businesses ("Clients"). This policy explains how we handle information, including mobile phone numbers, when sending messages on a Client's behalf.
Clients provide us with the contact details of their existing customers (name, mobile number, email) and invoice details (amount, invoice number, due date) so that reminders can be sent. We process this information only to deliver the service to that Client.
No sharing of mobile numbers. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are used solely to send the messages described here. They will not be shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging service providers (e.g., Twilio) act only as carriers to deliver messages.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies by account activity. A typical unpaid invoice results in no more than three reminder messages over 45 days, plus replies to any message the recipient sends.
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact andy@groundworkdone.com.
Emails identify the business on whose behalf they are sent and include a way to stop further reminders.
Data is stored on servers we control, protected by access controls and encryption in transit. Message content may be generated with the help of automated language-model services under data-processing terms that prohibit use of the data for training.
We keep Client data for the duration of the Client relationship and delete it within 30 days of the relationship ending, or sooner on request.
Recipients may ask what information we hold about them, request correction or deletion, or opt out of messages at any time by contacting andy@groundworkdone.com.
