The service

Groundwork sends payment reminders and related account notifications to a Client's existing customers on the Client's behalf, by SMS and email, and relays or responds to replies. Groundwork is a messaging and reminder service; it is not a debt collector and does not purchase, assign, or add fees to any debt.

SMS program terms

• Messages are sent on behalf of the business named in each message to customers who have provided their mobile number to that business and agreed to receive account communications.
• Message frequency varies by account activity; typically no more than three reminders per invoice over 45 days, plus replies.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Support: andy@groundworkdone.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Client responsibilities

Clients confirm they have the right to contact the customers they provide, that the invoices are genuine, and that they will keep contact and payment status information accurate. Clients may pause or stop reminders to any customer at any time.

Acceptable use

The service may not be used for marketing, for contacting people without an existing business relationship, or for any unlawful purpose.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, Groundwork's liability is limited to the fees paid by the Client for the month in which a claim arises.
